Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Welcome Twins

The world's best selling female singer, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon welcomed twins today at 12:07 pm today in Los Angeles. It is a triple blessing for the happy couple as they also celebrate their 3rd wedding anniversary. Mariah's rep Cyndi Berger told the Associated Press saying the girl was born first weighing 5lbs. 3oz and was 18 inches long, while her brother weighed 5lbs. 6oz and was 19 inches long. The couple has not announced the babies names yet. Nick drove his wife to the hospital in their Rolls-Royce Phantom, cause Mariah thought she was feeling false labor pain, but remained calm.


"My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life, I won't ever be able to top this!" tweeted Nick following his children's birth. But just like her husband, I had predicted that she would have given birth today on her anniversary. "I'm not trying to be a psychic, but we renew our vows every year...so its probably gonna be in the hospital this year, I can feel it", Nick said Thursday when he guest hosted "The Talk". We got the minister coming in so it wont be a wedding gown, but a hospital gown.

Berger said they were listening Mariah's hit "We Belong Together" shortly after the children were born. As for the origin of their names, Nick told People Magazine in January that they had aimed for unique names, but not wacky "They won't be crazy names like Carburetor or something, he promised. But they are definitely unique.

Mariah and Nick are expected to celebrate their third anniversary by renewing their wedding vows on Sunday.
