Beyonce takes a stand with "Best Thing I Never Had" the second single from her fourth studio album 4 (June 28). Written by Babyface and produced by Symbolic One, the mid-tempo tune sees Bey spewing vengeful lyrics about a lover who didn't recognize a good thing until it was gone.
"When I think of the time that I almost loved you/ You showed your ass and I saw the real you/ Thank God you blew it/ I thank God I dodged the bullet/ I'm so over you, so baby good looking out", Bey sings before kicking him to the curb.
i am glad that the song was picked for single release ... its actually one of my favorite songs on 4
